Details
Papilio blumei, also called the Peacock butterfly, is a very lovely
butterfly from the south pacific islands. The first description
was in 1836 by Boisduval. With a wingspan of 12.0 14.0
cm the Peacock is a big member of the family PAPILIONIDAE. The
butterfly is black with iridescent green bands and spots. The
hind wings have broad tails.
