While the male goliath birdwing butterfly dazzles us with his bright neon color wings, the female wows us with her enormous size.

The female O. goliath is second largest in the world behind only the Queen alexandra birdwing, whose wingspan can reach an astonishing 12" across.

These butterflies are currently being raised in butterfly farms by locals in Indonesia.
