This beautiful and uncommon all green butterfly is very difficult to spot in the wild, for when it is resting on a tree branch, it blends in perfectly with the surrounding leaves. Equipped with powerful thoracic (chest) muscles, the Charaxes eupale flies with great speed and agility.
